Our Mission

Founded in 1973, the Professional Basketball Writers Association is a nonprofit membership organization comprised of people who regularly cover the NBA and WNBA for newspapers, magazines and websites.

The PBWA champions the rights of writers so they may provide complete, accurate and compelling coverage of professional basketball for the widest possible audience.
